Hi Evan, We have not met but, Carl Hibbard WD8NHK Was listening last night, on about 20 ft of lampcord wire, have no antenna that comes close to being usable even with a tuner for 80 M. You were putting out a nice signal. Of course considering that I live in West Carrollton .......... Heard you say that you were thinking of going to Indianapolis Hamfest with your grandson. Have fun. I had originally intended to go but unless something happens to change things I am now committed to being out of town the following week I cannot make it. Reason for this note. Should anyone in the group(s) mention that they have a basket case Heathkit SB200 I would be interested. Doesn't need a cabinet, nor does it need finals or have to function. If you should happen to see one at Indy I would be grateful for any contact information that you could obtain. Am just getting back into hamdom after a 20 year break.
