[drakelist] tr-4 no am carrier

this is my first post. and my first drake. so here it goes. i have a  
early model tr-4. i have been slowly working the bugs out of it. i  
was going to try it out on am but no carrier. is this normal? when i  
spoke the relative output moves upward. thanks for any help
