Jim,
You may need a "stereo to mono" adapter, as the jack in the Drakes is mono, or 
you will only hear in one ear.  Try them, it won't hurt a thing.  My old Drake 
headphones had a resistor in series with the "hot" lead, but my old mind won't 
tell me the value, and if that was only needed for the TR7.  Maybe one of the 
guys that remembers will chime in, hi.
