Yes Ken, you are quite right. Neuses Tools makes a nice pocket tool as you suggest. The CB5 or CB6 is a nice little kit. This tool cleaned it up pretty good, however, one needs to also pay attention to contact spacing as well, while cleaning up and adjusting relays. Also available are small, flat burnishers similar to a very smooth file, used to polish the pivot itself after it has been refinished. I have and use these tools regularly in repair of early american spring driven clocks. Thought I would mention it since it is remotely related to the subject of cleaning radio relays, and also because I can't think of a single intelligent thing to say about repairing vintage Drake radios yet.
