Hello, I am new to the list and I am having a PTO problem on a "new to me"
TR7.
Please excuse me if this has been covered before. I done a very cursory
check in the archives without much success,
My problem is two fold.
First the TR7 jumps freq both during RX and Tx by a +200 hz approx.
I have done the usual adjustments re 10 v reg, passband tuning etc.
The second problem is mechanical. The digital readout and the mechanical
dial do not agree. The usual attempts at adjustment from the front panel are
not successfull. There is not enough "correction range". BTW I do know the
digital reading is correct.
It seems as though one of the dial drive gears may have jumped a tooth. I
can not find a drawing in the maint manual that I have.
I do not want to get too involved until I have a little more information.
Can someone on this list refer me to a site where this may be covered?
