PS  I'm not sure that secondary voltage is correct.  The rectifier circuit is a 
voltage doubler.  If the secondary voltage of the transformer were 2500, then 
the doubler would produce someting in the 5 kv range, clearly outside the 
ratings of the capacitors in the supply as well as components in the RF deck.

rating on the secondary of the L4 PS is 2500v. I see 2600v on my meter.  Also 
12v filaments on the 3-500Zs and 6.3v for the panel lights :-)
