A point well-made, Garey...

I had a similar such event occur here once with an old Heathkit HW-12A
monoband transceiver...it employed an internal open-framed T/R relay, and
after due application (several times) of isopropyl alcohol via a pre-wetted
paper matchstick, it was good to go again.
