Regarding Ron's remarks, which I find really interesting, I still would like to repeat that official Drake dealers (outside USA anyway) also received the top front panel exchanges for TR7 to TR7A. My Drake dealer, as I mentioned previously here, received these, along with all the other bits and pieces and pieces from Drake in order to perform official Drake upgrades for clients from TR7 to TR7A, and not just after Drake wanted to 'get rid' of parts. At their storeroom, I have seen a bundle of these TR7A top front strips that they still have in their storeroom very recently. The company still exists, and the people who performed those upgrades also. So if there's ay Drake historian who would like to get more info from them, let me know and I will gladly send their company info (they speak English too). 73, Theo
