Jose -
I don't know how big the market would be, but I've seen quite a few that
have been discolored by exposure to sunlight. They turn a dark brown.
There are at least four different dials for the twins, and at least two
for the TR-3/4 series.
The originals are 1.0 mm (0.040") thick, and 108 mm (4.25") dia. The
center hole is 9.5 mm (3/8") dia

Hello!
I wonder if there is some market for Drake reproduction dials
(transparent in a first attempt), identical to the original in shape,
as I have some very nice material, 1 mm thick (and with protective
plastic in both sides), which I could work with my CNC mill, making a
perfectly fitting part, with all the holes and such.
If someone provides me with a damaged disc, I could manufacture some
samples. Any taker :-)?
Best regards,
JOSE

Yep. If you don't have the original disc, (the print just washed
off, etc.,) there is a good sub at the top and bottom of each 50 or
100 pack of blank CDs. It's a little oversize, but can be trimmed
down on a lathe, or by chucking into a low speed drill and scribed
with an X-Acto knife held against a solid rest.

If you dont get any other info, I know how to make one. Basically
a blank glass and a reverse image waterslide decal
from inkjet/decal paper. Just need a scan of a 2b dial
glass.Curt KU8L
Anybody ever tried this method except with a plastic dial from a 4
series ?
