Guys,
Just thought I'd follow up. I appreciate everybody's advice. I've
ordered new (higher-capacity) pass transistors and a new higher-cap bridge for
my Astron, so I'm going to see if this corrects the problem I'm experiencing
before I buy a new power supply. The Astron info on repeater-builder.com is
excellent. When I open it up, I'm going to check some other things like the
723 compensation cap, grounding, and so on. We'll see how that goes.
