Yes, the MN-2000 is completely enclosed. The outer black cabinet is for
appearance only.

Oh yes; I still have a spare cabinet for one, will need refinishing,
but a great big black cabinet.
Second? Did the unit come with an aluminum top & side cover when out
of the cabinet. The holes are all drilled and tapped, but every
picture I can scrounge has no cover.
This project is going to be interesting as I have a piece really
worked over by someone whom I believe burned a lot of stuff out.
73's and there is always next winter, my wife says boat stuff has to
start pretty quick.
