Well, 150W of AM is 600W PEP. So voltage breakdown shouldn't be a problem, and if you've never looked inside an MN-2000 the components are all physically big. The tuner is rated for 2000W PEP, so should work just fine.

Greetings!

I was wondering what folks think about running AM with an MN-2000 tuner. The power would be around 100-150 watts, but of course the duty cycle is 100% on this mode. I would imagine that as long-winded as I am I could be key-down for five to seven minutes <yeah uh-huh>. Would the MN-2000 hold up?

Thanks!
