I run a BC-375 (350w+ carrier) through a Johnson Kilowatt Matchbox, similar
power ratings with no problems, most of this older kit is very
conservatively rated I would have no worries running 350w of AM through the
MN-2000, it will cope with 150w with ease. By the way listen for Europe
AM'ers on 3705, when you get up and running. If you ran that sort of power
through a modern atu with an internal balun you will run into problems.

Subject: [Drakelist] MN2000 on AM
Greetings!
I was wondering what folks think about running AM with an MN-2000 tuner.
The power would be around 100-150 watts, but of course the duty cycle is
100% on this mode. I would imagine that as long-winded as I am I could
be key-down for five to seven minutes <yeah uh-huh>. Would the MN-2000
hold up?
Thanks!
