For the record I used the cap/resistor load on the first two or three TR-4's I aligned and forgot it after that, it didnt make a bit of difference I could see and after a few cracks, pops, sparks, and ozone I felt it wasnt worth it. A tech at Drake once told me the same, dont worry about using the load.
