I thought the same thing, but all the Drake 4 Line cabs are the same
depth! Except I guess the watt meters, at least that's all I can think
of. The 7 Line has a lot of short cabs, so perhaps that's what they
were for.

feet of the shorter equipment (speakers, etc.) in line with the xcvr's
etc. when the front feet were doubled up.
