Ah ,my lack of experience then. Never actually seen the 4-line up-close-and-personal as they say. Always had just a TR-4C and RV-4C and MN-2000. the MN-2000 matches the TR-4C in size btw.

I thought the same thing, but all the Drake 4 Line cabs are the same depth! Except I guess the watt meters, at least that's all I can think of. The 7 Line has a lot of short cabs, so perhaps that's what they were for.
