Guy -
VERY nice 'stacks'. ! :-) The good news is that you can 'mix and
match' to find the problem!
Pardon me if I go too far back, but I don't know your level of experience.
1. What signal level, if any, do you get from the CALIBRATOR? If you
do NOT find the calibrator signal, skip down to 4 below. If you DO have
calibrator, then ...
2. You are aware that the TR-7 BANDSWITCH must be on the same BAND (or
higher) than that of the R-7 because of the lo-pass filtering in the TR-7.
3. I would try connecting the R-7 ANT input directly to the MN-2700 to
bypass the TR-7 / L-7completely.
4. If still nothing, then my next suggestion would be to open up the
receiver and reseat all the cards. Probably 95% of the problems with
the 7 Line equipment are 'fixed' by reseating the cards. There just
isn't enough voltage or current going through so many of those contacts
that the slightest bit of corrosion kills them.

Hello Gary,
Nice to hear from you. Here are the answers to your questions:
* R7 Antenna switch is on Main/Main;
* The antenna goes through the matching network which goes through
the L75 to end of the TR7;
* I have verified all cables and connections between the R7 and
TR7 and put dioxine....no change!
Your in-depth knowledge of the Drake is well appreciated.
