Went to do the receiver sensitivity / S-meter adjustments today on my R4B, hadn't done it on this one before, but I have done it on my R4A.
So on page 35 of the manual, Step 2, setting the sensitivity so TP2 is -1.35 went OK. But, starting on step 4, it says "Reconnect the voltmeter to TP-2 and set the R.F. GAIN control counter-clockwise until -15 volts is read......." I don't get anywhere near -15 volts, no more than like -2 volts. What should I check ?
