Thank you for the wiring information you gave me for my TR7 Mic Gain and Carrier Control. It worked and I appreciate it. I finally went to bed after being up for almost 30 hours messing with the unit. I should have written down the information correctly, and it looks like I just messed up on one connection. I now am experiencing a problem with the unit not switching from LSB to USB. Why? It appears the unit favors to work best in LSB???? On twenty meters I can switch from LSB to USB and the audio wants to stay in LSB. If I key the mic a couple of times it will switch to USB when the USB switch is in that position, and if I key the mic a second time the signal strength will also increase? I don't think I pinched any wires when I reassembled the unit but maybe. I suspect the IF board? Computer? I made sure all my vox controls were fully off and no vox was being used that I am aware of. Have you had any experience with this? I did remove the DR7 board to gain access to the audio pot perhaps I may have one of the connectors upside down??? Can you look at your DR7 board and if you would let me know how your connectors are installed. Thank you again Michael J Trussell KA8ASN
