The HayseedHamfest caps are ALL NEW construction, including the can,
phenolic washer and terminals. The internal caps are 105 degree rated.
They are drop-in replacements down to the terminal indicators.
Definitely the best 'almost official' replacement.

I haven't seen Hayseed's kit or how it is installed on the 2-C,
although I will need to eventually.
But many do work from the bottom on other rigs just to leave the cans
and all on top looking original if for no other reason than nastalgia;
certainly not deception, since you are going to be so much better off
in the end.
