The HayseedHamfest caps are ALL NEW construction,
including the can, phenolic washer and terminals. The
internal caps are 105 degree rated. They are drop-in
replacements down to the terminal indicators. Definitely
the best 'almost official' replacement.

There had been some question about this. Usually
re-stuffed caps are opened at the bottom not the top. the
cans on Tom's stuff do NOT look used at all. I had some
correspondence with someone who asked about where the seams
were and the nature of the connections. He thought they were
restuffed but Tom talks about a factory making them and, as
said, they look too new to be recycled. I'm glad there has
been a definite clarification. I have Tom's caps for both
Drake and Hallicrafters stuff.
