Sounds like a non-problem to me. First off, 'typical' GAIN setting in
TUNE is 10 - 11 O'clock where the ALC takes control, so you're
'starving' one or more stages.
I'm guessing that since in XMTR position the XMTR sends a negative bias
down the INJ line to cut off the Preselector in the RCVR, it changes the
load on the XMTR Preselector output. Assume that you are using an
appropriate (low capacitance) INJ cable.?
