Garey,

Thanks. That may be the cause/reason for it. I normally run a power amp (AL-811) but this morning I didn't need it. I run the Gain at 9:00 to keep the amp from going into the red. But also I have been controlling the transceive in the RCVR position. I'll see what it looks like the next time I have the amp on and use the XMTR to control the transceive. (have to increase the gain, maybe ;-) ). I was switching between the 3 options of Transceive Mode and came up with this anomaly. Yes, I do use the low capacitance cables.

Sounds like a non-problem to me.  First off, 'typical' GAIN setting in TUNE is 10 - 11 O'clock where the ALC takes control, so you're 'starving' one or more stages.

I'm guessing that since in XMTR position the XMTR sends a negative bias down the INJ line to cut off the Preselector in the RCVR, it changes the load on the XMTR Preselector output.  Assume that you are using an appropriate (low capacitance) INJ cable.?

Something strange here. On band 3.5 XMTR gain at 9 o'clock...in tune position It shows .3 amp in SEPARATE position, .3 amp in RCVR position, but only .2 amp in XMTR position. RF Tune is peaked on XMTR and Preselector is peaked on RCVR. What am I missing here?
