Steve -

I found a suitable spring at an ACE hardware store a few years ago. They have the little plastic boxes with about 15 compartments in each one that are full of all sorts of odd things. Knurled thumb screws, Lamp hardware, odd pieces of hardware, and on had a whole selection of springs. I probably should have bought all they had, but I only needed one! I think it cost me 35 cents.

I'll likely remove the braid to the rear of the slug rod, but I really need to find a spring that will work properly on the PTO from the locations where it's supposed to be (yoke to PTO shield).
Does anyone know of a source for those little springs?
