G’day I’ve got a Drake 2NT and 2B, which am in the process of refurbishing. With the decline in solar activity, I was wondering if anyone had found ways to use them on the 30 m band?
Maybe the 2B just needs relatively straightforward crystal addition, but the 2NT looks like an extra coil would need switching into the anode circuitry of the 12BY7A and potentially another tap put in place on the 6HF5 PA tank coil (am wondering if the 7MHz or 14MHz tank coil tap would tune there?).
