Yes, it's about time, but here's something to look at :-) I still havent got the "testgart" program happy with unbind/rebind. BUT: a smaller test program I wrote, with smaller memory chunks, DOES work for unbind/rebind. So, the hell with it, I'll call this my initial release. If anyone wants to mess with AGP support on solaris intel, with a 440bx motherboard, here's your chance:
http://bolthole.com/solaris/drivers/agpgart0.9.tar.gz Suggestions on how best to test this with my ATI rage128 card are hereby solicited. One way , in theory, would be: - pull down the xfree tree - replace os-support/sol8-x86/agp_noop.c with something that works - Adjust os-support/sol8-x86/Imakefile - add 'define HasAgpGart YES' to host.def and rebuild the server. But, as I mentioned in a waaay earlier posting: nothing seems to USE xf86EnableAGP() [and other routines in os-support/agp_xxx] any more. So I'm not even sure that would do me any good. _______________________________________________ Dri-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel
