Could you be more specific about what "just rubbish" looks like. :)

I have Unreal Tournament working with multitexturing on.  I have an 8M
card.  I'm using the ut-install-436-GOTY.run (Game of the Year edition)  
from loki.  I'm using "SDLGLDrv.SDLGLRenderDevice" under [Engine.Engine]
for the first 3 items.  You need to set "ScreenFlashes=False" under
[SDLDrv.SDLClient] or else the screen will go black when you get hit.  
These settings go in ~/.loki/ut/System/UnrealTournament.ini.  I get some
texture bugs where parts of the texture that should be transparent are
not, but other than that it works.  In the log I see a bunch of these
lines though:

Log: OpenGL Error: GL_INVALID_VALUE (please report this bug)

Too bad loki is defunct now.  Anyone have any ideas on how to debug this?
I think the source is still available, has anyone built UT with debugging 
symbols?
