Thank you for your prompt replies. I have tried the latest trunk w/unpatched radeon_state.c, so I guess that fix is no longer required. I seem to recall something about the ring buffer having redundant checks, which is why I've always kept it patched, but currently works unpatched. I guess if I could champion the cause of #define PCIGART_ENABLED to be default for x86 as well as alpha (not sure how it works on ppc or any other platform), then I swear I wont meddle for at least a week or two:) -- Chuck Brewer Registered Linux User #284015
