Has anyone put any thought into a 'migration' kit of sorts for DRI, so that IHVs can easily port their Windows drivers to DRI? Is it possible? Would people use it? More importantly, is there sufficient community support for it? It certainly would provide a fair bit of impetus (if well publicized) for manufacturers to release drivers for DRI, if it required a minimum of effort. On the other hand, it would discourage them from releasing specs, which might be a very undesirable consequence. I guess in the end it depends on what the aim is -- more 3D drivers under Linux that use DRI, or fewer ones that are open source Comments? David Bronaugh
