Hey guys,
That did it. I moved libint10.a out of the way on my linux
installation, and now X is failing to start just as it did under FreeBSD
(while validating modes on the second head).
So, in theory, you should be able to reproduce the problem really
easily, Alex, by moving that file, too. Of course, I'm more than willing
to test or try anything on my end.
