I would vote for auto-update being a settable property for a timestamp
column, not an implicit property.

I see no reason to have TIMESTAMP unless they automatically update.
If you want to set a time, just use DATETIME.
And a lot of people rely on that auto-update behavior. It is incredibly
useful.
