If you've installed the libdrizzle packages, it all goes in /usr/lib.
The prefix thing shouldn't be needed. Nothing looks wrong in the plugin
config files...

Can you check to see if you do actually have /usr/lib/libdrizzle.la ? It
should be in libdrizzle-dev.
