Hi everybody. Wow, things are going great. Drizzle has a GA release, and all kinds of great features are planned. Really cool stuff.
In my work to integrate Drizzle into Ubuntu 11.04 (entering beta right now), I discovered and fixed this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/drizzle/+bug/740583 Which essentially makes it hard to fix this problem in the Ubuntu packaging the right way: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/drizzle/+bug/739778 So, the fix has been merged into Elliot. I'm wondering now how those releases will be versioned, and by what strategy we will update the GA releases (regular cadence, as needed, or..??) Since the GA release is 2011.03.13, I would expect patches to arrive in releases like 2011.03.13.01.
