Evergreen supports simple HTTP-based access to MARC records, as well as
built-in transforms. For example, if the bibliographic ID for a given
record in Evergreen is 739015, you can see the human-oriented
representation at <hostname>/eg/opac/record/739015 -- e.g.
https://laurentian.concat.ca/eg/opac/record/739015

You can request the record in MARCXML format at
https://laurentian.concat.ca/opac/extras/supercat/retrieve/marcxml/record/739015
and
use the built-in transforms for other formats, such as MODS 3.2 (
https://laurentian.concat.ca/opac/extras/supercat/retrieve/mods32-uris/record/739015
<https://laurentian.concat.ca/opac/extras/supercat/retrieve/mods32/record/739015>)
or Dublin Core (
https://laurentian.concat.ca/opac/extras/supercat/retrieve/oai_dc/record/739015)
[1] -- the complete list of available formats for your Evergreen
installation is at https://laurentian.concat.ca/opac/extras/supercat/formats

In any case, getting a given record from Evergreen in a number of different
representations is pretty trivial.

That said, we also run DSpace, and currently we do not index theses etc in
our Evergreen instance so haven't worked out a workflow for this. I suppose
we believe that OAI harvesting by various indexes (Google Scholar, etc) is
likely to provide the visibility that our scholars need.

1. Hmm, looks like the MARC-to-DC transform needs to be taught to be more
intelligent about authority subfields.
