Hi Tim, Thank you for the prompt response. Actually, ORCID integration is what I tried. I used SolrAuthority plugin to create authority values for keywords, following the instructions on https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC6x/ORCID+Integration#ORCIDIntegration-AddingadditionalfieldsunderORCID. The repository I was testing on contains around 3000 items, so after running index-authority script solr logs an error because of the number of values found. Does this error sound like misconfiguration or plugin misuse? Regarding ORCID *authors* authority control, is it a good practice to use SolrAuthorAuthority plugin for thesis’ authors and examiners even if the majority of the names in our repository are not registerd in ORCID and do not have IDs?
