Continuing in list is a good idea...
I just want to force the issues rather than sit on our hands any longer. Show
me a future where theres a roadmap and an agenda, maybe I'll be less of a
pessimist. I've been banging my head on the front of this fast moving train
way too long. I'm tolerant in keeping the code in place, but what to see the
best approach in place by release. I too emailed Richard saying I'd assist
wherever possible.
(Note even the folks over in the Fascinator project are trying to use these
dependencies (Solr) we've released as part of DSpace, so be careful where you
define the boundary and benefits of your community codebase and artifacts, its
wider than you think.)
