Thanks for this great effort to organize things.
I was anticipating considerably more time for 3.0 dialog and planning,
specifically address details and concerns around any significant
alterations happening in the datamodel and or source tree that should be
considered significant in impact to endusers and organizations that may
have forked the codebase (a little or a lot). Likewise,
more discussion concerning the long term roadmap and strategies for
alignment with Fedora and its community, specifically to address dialog
concerning topics exposed in our recent virtual meetings, possibly even an
opportunity to hold a more open sit down discussion with Fedora and other
Duraspace members to review some of the topics that were documented in the
Duraspace Retreat meeting that happened earlier in the year.
I expect that, based on the list of attendees. We have a very developer
centric team with a few DCAT members that have a good understanding of
community requirements and DSpace capabilities. I'd like to see less
summary, more attack on 3.0 and even 4.0 direction/roadmap/feature
expectations, Pros and Cons of specific targets and so on. I expect to see
more talk on cool things that the community members are doing in the actual
user group sessions of the conference.
