Ivan Masár commented on DS-1017:
--------------------------------
Hi Elias,
thanks for sharing with us. I looked at it and I have a few comments:
1) Why did you create a copy of the xmlui webapp? Did you make any Java code
changes (browser detection, changes in DRI?) or is that just to get a separate
URL? I'm sure it wouldn't be accepted to DSpace if it was a copy with some
minor changes, however it's fine if you're planning to merge them again later.
2) Opera Mini which I use probably isn't recognized as a mobile browser, please
add it. Then I tried with the standard Android browser and it worked.
3) The alphabet buttons and Prev/Next buttons are links in a li. It would be
better, if the link took up the whole area of li, which would make it much
easier to tap (the whole point of a mobile interface).
4) I tried to use search, but it only returned an empty page with one word -
"undefined"
5) Then it stopped working at all (even on my desktop it now shows a blank
page) and in the stock Android browser it automatically downloads a
"download.bin" file instead. Sorry if I broke it :)
