Hi,
I'm an American librarian working at Nazarbayev University in Astana,
Kazakhstan. I'm on the working group to develop an institutional
repository, and we're currently in the planning stage. One of our biggest
questions is what platform we're going to use. Those of us on the working
group are all highly in favor of DSpace, but one of the questions we have
concerns language support. Can anyone speak to DSpace's support of foreign
languages and alphabets? Specifically, we need Russian and Kazakh, in
addition to English, with support for Cyrillic characters used in both
languages.
Thanks!
