I recently updated our DSpace from 4.1 to 6.2, and everything appears to have gone pretty well.
One thing that I've been unable to figure out is how to make the "Recent Submissions" revolving box show up on the home page. It is possible that I missed a config statement that made this work, but I've looked at it over and over again, including searching through the docs, and can't figure out what it would be. SOLR appears to be working, and Discovery and facets and search are all working normally, but the Recent Submissions area won't show up. I even went so far as to comment out the statement in the JSP for the home page that checks for submissions.count() and such, and the box will show up but not show content. The RSS feeds in the box work fine, though. >From what I remember when setting up 4.1, this just "worked" without any configuration, but I could be remembering incorrectly. Does anyone have any advice on how to get the Recent Submission box working again in 6.2? Thanks.
