OK... Mark Diggory says there are no "dumb" questions for the list...but I have a dumb question.
I have been doing batch imports now for almost 6 years (and on 4 different releases), and what I've always done is upload items (and bitstreams) and then later go into DSpace and edit the items entering the descriptions for multiple bitstreams. As I was showing this process to someone today, I was asked the question: "Can't the importer do this for you?"
