But DSpace 2.0 is not ready yet, right? And the patch was done quite a while
ago, so presumably would be ok in 1.5.1.

I am considering learning enough about DSpace to be able to make some code
changes to better support authentication via IP. I realise there is already
some primitive support for this but I need to extend it. But this raises the
question "which version of DSpace?". Should I be looking at 2.0 instead?
