Very interesting, didn't know they had a January edition.
I will compare the standings of institutions that are also included in my
Google Analytics Stats research, and see if the order "matches" the order in
this ranking.
If the orders match, it could be a useful indicator that both webometrics
and Google Analytics measure results in similar ways.

However, if there is a (big) difference, it might be worth investigating
further.

the more included repositories, the more reliable the results.
