Sorry to resurrect this sad thread, but I'm still stuck and getting nowhere fast.
Are there plans to include an embargo facility in a future version of DSpace? Alternatively, has anybody implemented embargoes with an external script that checks a field in the database. In desperation, I've been considering doing something along those lines, but I can't find a suitable field in the database that could be used to restrict access to a bitstream.
