Thank you, Claudia! Do you mean logging in to DSpace as an admin and in some way choosing a certain eperson for the submission? I can't see any obvious place for this among the admin choices (in the left menu under "Administer", in 1.5.0 jspui without any special add-ons or anything). Because I can't really log in to DSpace as another user when I'm already logged in as an administrator, can I?
