Marc,

I notice a couple things.

1.) Theres no source tree located here, just a file download.
2.) You've flagged your project as GPL, the file you uploaded contains the
entire DSpace codebase with your modifications, You may be able to license
your modifications as GPL, but cannot re-license the original source-code as
such. Likewise, licensing your customizations under GPL will result in them
not being able to be contributed back to the DSpace source tree.

The largest question, are you interested in contributing this work back to
the DSpace community? Its pretty clear that Content Type based submission
processes going to be the direction that DSpace needs to go in the
future. Right
now, at first blush, I view the work you have done as customizing your
institutions local DSpace installation. However, my opinion is that you
would see the developer community welcome more direct participation and
feedback on your work within this area.

I've looked briefly at how you are packaging your work, I would say, moreso
than the case with Robin's work there would need to be a review done to
determine where your work manipulates the core api classes and should be a
patch to DSpace vs being an actual modular AddOn to DSpace.

I have been working to create an incubator that would bring DSpace community
projects closer to home within the DSpace svn repository. Right now, this
mostly just means having a good scalable SVN location to maintain modules
under the DuraSpace license terms.

https://scm.dspace.org/svn/repo/modules

And a prototypes Directory for work that is for new proposals for
functionality in DSpace.

https://scm.dspace.org/svn/repo/sandbox

In Robins case, we are evaluating the codebase he has posted in the JIRA
ticket and making recommendations on how to manage changes that effect the
core of DSpace vs those that should be crafted as addon modules. If your
interested participating or having your work considered within this process,
I'm sure the overall community would welcome this effort.

Cheers,
Mark
