Hello Matthias, you can not use the importer to create workspaceitems (unfinished submissions which appear in the MyDSpace of the submitter), but you can use the -w workflow option to send the submission through the workflow of the collection. There you got 2 steps, if defined, which allow you to edit the metadata based on the input-forms.
