I've tested the workflow option like this:

./import -a -e [email protected] -c 123456789/6387 -s /root/ingest/data/
-m /root/ingest/mapfile.txt -w

In fact, there is no difference whether I use the option or not. But I
don't really understand what you mean with:"There you got 2 steps, if
defined, which allow you to edit the metadata based on the input-forms."
