I find myself exploring Format Registries, and if Dspace uses them, and also
the level of detail of the BistreamFormat property. I seem to know very little
about how dspace assignes this property, nor how to view it.

I was reading the "BistreamFormat Workbench",
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/BitstreamFormat+Workbench, which
suggests that PRONOM identifiers are used. Is that true? It also mentions
using 'dsrun' to view these, but I find that in our installation (1.8.2, linux)
there is no "${DSPACE_HOME}/bin/dsrun" . Googling suggests using
"${DSPACE_HOME/bin/dspace dsrun ... " but that seems to actually try to launch
dspace itself. Is there documentation somewhere on how to run dsrun in 1.8.2,
or some alternate method of viewing the bitstreamformat property?
