Yes Mark, thanks for updating it. One thing: I'd switch Technique A and B because I think B is preferable. It's simply set and forget, as opposed to copying webapps which is "forget every year during dspace upgrade". Now that it uses context fragments as opposed to server.xml, the customized configuration should never be overriden by the package manager during Tomcat upgrade, so I don't see any reason not to recommend it.
